Its aim is to assist students in the development of their spiritual identities through the acquisition of a solid foundation of knowledge and experience in all areas of Torah study, and in the synthesis of all the areas of religious and academic studies

I am focusing on teaching the history of the Jewish people , mainly the time period when the halakha was formulated- the Middle Ages, the Sages of Germany, the Tosafists of France and the Rishonim in Spain . History and events have a way of influencing the thought processes that lead to the Halakhic decisions. I also teach Talmud and Halakha , incorporating the history of the time
