The “Metivta” Program

 

 

The “Metivta” Program – Headed by Dr. Meirav (Tubul) Kahana and Dr. Naama Sat

 

The “Metivta” Program – Designed for students interested in comprehensive independent studies. Students of the Program are required to take 8-10 weekly courses throughout the academic year, including Havrutot and (Seder plus Shiur):

 

20 hours weekly program - 10 courses over the year including:  2  pairs of Seder and Shiur classes, one Havruta, participation in the Metivta Seminar( 8 evening classes throughout the year) and a Metivta Shabbaton.

 

 The Program's students are awarded  credits for 7 courses (each span over 2 semesters) in the Midrasha. They also are entitled for an annual academic stipend  and a certain living expenses stipend as per the Ministry of Education's regulations.

16 hours weekly program -  ( 14 hours for students studying for a B. Sc.) 8 courses over the year  including: 2  pairs of Seder and Shiur classes, one Havruta, participation in the Metivta Seminar( 8 evening classes throughout the year) and a Metivta Shabbaton.

 

 The Program's students are awarded  credits for 5 courses (each span over 2 semesters) in the Midrasha. They also are entitled for an annual academic stipend (up to 80% of tuition fees) and a certain living expenses stipend as per the Ministry of Education's regulations.
