The Midrasha for Women library includes more than 15,000 titles and periodicals. The collection covers a wide range of Jewish texts including Biblical subjects, Oral Law, Halacha, Jewish philosophy, Jewish history, Hebrew language, the history of the Land of Israel, the State of Israel, and Hebrew literature. There is also a section in the library dedicated to English language books for foreign students.
The library serves all of Bar-Ilan's students and faculty. In addition to the spacious reading room, a computer room is also available to all visitors.
The library is part of Bar-Ilan University's Library system, and anyone can search its entire collection using the online library directory. Most of the library’s titles can be accessed online, for instance - the Responsa Project, the Talmudic Encyclopedia, the Techumin, the writings of Rav Kook, the writings of Rebbi Nachman of Breslov and others.
The library serves as a reference library, as a Beit Midrash for independent study, and for studies led by Rabbis and lecturers of the Midrasha.
